New Clue & MVR Procedures Effective Immediately
Effective Immediately, SLS Personal Lines Auto Quote Proposals will no longer include information provided by Choicepoint (CLUE & MVR) at the time of quoting. This action is implemented based on the companies represented through SLS procedural changes to help manage the cost related to the MVR Report Ordering.
Upon SLS receiving a request to bind the auto coverage, ALL reports will be ordered on all drivers. Your agency will be notified within 24-48 hours of any additional incidents on the reports that were not included in the original quote requested to be bound. The easiest way to avoid charges for the reports ordered without coverage bound is to employ best practices around report ordering. The carriers suggest to use the customers' self-admitted information for quotes and only request MVR reports upon your reqest to have issued. We strongly encourage your agency to inform your prospective insured that reports will not be ordered until a request to issue coverage is made. Any additional activity on the reports could change the original quoted premium. Any questions regarding this new procedure, please contact your underwriters.

GeoVera Specialty Online Bill Pay Now Available!
Policyholders can now make GeoVera Specialty Payments Online!! The GeoVera policy inquiry & management website was recently expanded to provide policy documents and has been further enhanced to accept payments from your insureds.
Your clients will benefity from one of GeoVera's most popular payment options - paying with a checking or savings account online - it's fast, easy, secure . . . and better yet . . it's FREE!
Send your insureds to www.mygeosource.com. All they need is their policy number and property zip vode to make a payment to an exsiting GeoVera Specialtiy policy (HO3 & Earthquake). Please note: online payments can only be processed for existing policies; initial payments for new business must be sent to the mailing address listed on the application.
Agents Pay At Bind With GeoVera Specialty
Agents now have the ability to make payments on a binder through the GeoVera Specialty Insurance Company Homeowners quoting site. This is a quick and easy way to make binder payments online.
The following requirements must be met for a producer to make a payment on a binder:
* Binder must be active on the website. Payment will not be allowed on expired binders
* Binders will expire after forty days
* Applicant or Alternate Payor must be selected in the "Bill To" field
* Payments are accepted from checking or savings accounts
Pay At Bind Process
1. Chosoe an active binder from the Quote List by clicking on the link in the Quote/Binder # or Status column
2. Click May Payment or Pay Now
3. Complete all required fields, and then click Proceed. The authorization box must be checked to continue from this screen
4. Verify all information entered is correct and then click PAY NOW. Click Cancel to end the transaction
The confirmation screen displays whether or not the payment of successful. Successful transactions will show the confirmation number, and a message to contact Customer Service with any additional questions.
Hanover Ultimate Service
Hanover has upgraded their Personal Lines Product Suite with the addition of two new broadening endorsements at no additional cost - Ultimate Service and Total Household Rewards! Ultimate Service broadens Towing and Labor and Rental coverages - at no additional cost! Ultimate Service helps you provide your customers with even greater peace of mind and convenience when they need it most - in the event of a claim or auto disablement.
Highlights
* Includes Ultimate Towing and Labor and Ultimate Rental
* Affects all new and in-force auto policies that have Towing and Labor and/or Rental Coverage
* Common endorsement effective date: Coverage will be "grandfathered" to all policies as of 5/15/08, regardless of renewal or new business effective date. Therefore, claims occurring on or after 5/15/08 will be offered this expanded coverage
* This provides a great opportunity to talk to customers who don't currently have Towign and Labor Coverage.
Coverage Overview Summary
Ultimate Towing and Labor pays
* Towing and Labor costs when insureds' keys are lost, broken, or accidentally locked in their auto, limited to per occurence limit on the declarations page; and
* Any reasonable towing cost when the vehicle is towed to the nearest Hanover-approved repair facility following a covered disablement regardless of the limit shown in the Coverage Selections Page.
* Collision Coverage is required for Towing and Labor to be secured
Ultimate Rental - by allowing Hanover to make rental car arrangements and repair the insured's vehicle at a Hanover-approved repair shop, Ulitmate Rental will reimburse rental car expenses, up to the selected daily coverage limits, for a period of time which is reasonable for having the covered auto repaired or replaced (up to $3,000). Collision coverage is required for Rental Coverage to be secured.

* Includes Certificate of Guaranteed Renewal and Single Loss Deductible
* Automatically added to all in-force and new business home and auto policies
* Applies when both hme and auto policies are in effective with The Hanover Insurance Company
* Coupled with the "Account Credit", Total Household Rewards makes account rounding even more compelling to your cusotmers!
